Right, let's get this out of the way first. We're not drone reviewers with a lab and a stack of test charts. We're two mates, Jim and Paul, who bought a DJI Lito X1 and take it out whenever the Welsh weather lets us. So this isn't a spec sheet. It's what the thing is actually like to live with.
Short version: we like it a lot. It's a great little drone.

Why we went for the Lito X1
We were torn between the DJI Mini 3 and the Lito X1, and the Lito just had that extra punch.
For us the big draw on paper was getting a properly decent camera, a 1/1.3-inch sensor, in a drone that still comes in under 249g, without paying Mini 5 Pro money. Under 250g keeps the rules simple in the UK. You still need a Flyer ID and an Operator ID, but you get a lot more freedom about where you can fly.
Getting started
Setup is nice and easy. Just follow the on-screen instructions in the DJI Fly app.
Our tip: do all the activation and updates at home on Wi-Fi the night before. Nobody wants to stand in a cold car park watching a progress bar.
Flying it
On our first flight it felt really commanding in the air. We were a bit worried about the wind, but it had no issues at all, and it takes great pictures too.
We fly a lot on the Anglesey coast, and anyone who's been knows it's rarely calm. It's always windy up there, but this drone handles it.

The obstacle sensing is a big part of why we'd recommend it to beginners. It sees all the way round and has LiDAR on the front. We haven't crashed it yet, because the obstacle avoidance just stops it dead before it hits anything.
The camera
This is where it earns its money. All the aerial shots on this site are ours, mostly along the Anglesey coast and across the water to Snowdonia.
The image quality is amazing. Have a look around the site: the photos are clear and sharp.

Battery life
At the moment we only have one battery, and it gives us a good 30 minutes of flying. That's plenty for a session, but more batteries are on our list so we can stay out longer.
If you're buying one now, we'd look at the Fly More combo, which comes with extra batteries and a charging hub. It usually works out cheaper than buying batteries separately later.

Best for: Anyone who wants more than one flight per trip
Who should buy it
Go for it if you want your first proper camera drone, you care about how the footage looks, and you'd like something forgiving while you learn.
Maybe look elsewhere if you want the power of a commercial drone.
Would we buy it again?
Yes, of course. We love this drone. It's everything we wanted and more.
